#PokemonGO: The point people asked for potions was that after raids, people got excessive number of Revives (not Max Revives), especially Level 4 or Level 5 raids. As a result, people who want to raid continuously face a problem of not being able to heal Pokémon to healthy for the next raid. Remember that most people purchase Raid Passes with the ultimate goal to catch the raid Pokémon, without the ability to fully heal Pokémon, it deterred people from joining more raids, thus deterred people from purchasing Raid Passes, or participating in raids. That's why we wanted more Potions.But diluting the raid-only premium rewards such as Golden Razzes, it makes the ultimate goal of most players less likely, and making the overall rewards less interesting, as there are more potentially useless items that's worse trashing, such as Super Potions and Revives (which didn't really see a decrease in number). This is not in the players' favor as they're more likely to be discouraged from fighting in more raids seeing less rewards and indirectly less chance of catching the raid Pokémon, but also not in Niantic's favor as less players in raid means less likelihood that raids would gather to be successful, and less people purchasing raid passes.TL;DR: High rank raids, such as Level 5 raids, should have their respectful rewards, not more tossable rewards. Potions are great, but should be "diluted" from Revives, not the premium reward items. Having a Level 5 raid not giving any Golden Razzes, Rare Candies or either TMs should not be a thing as it discourages players, which can lead to difficulty of gathering raids.P.S.: Potions should all be a rank up (except maybe Level 1, 2 raids), with Max Potions possible.
