"Weird community in my city"

#PokemonGO: My GF and I got scolded by a player today because we take arenas. He called us by our usernames and told us that he sometimes get pissed off by us taking arenas and tracks us in the whole city to kick us out of arenas. He kinda threatened us saying that he wasn't the worst and we were making a lot of people angry. We also get pissed off by other players but that's the game. We don't want to integrate in his community that seems to have created their own local rules (RPG guild cliché much?), we are just casual players that found something to do while enjoying walks.
