"Gym themes that aren't based off type"

I always thought that by making every gym based off of a single type made the games too easy. And maybe not do this for mainstream games, but having gyms with different themes other than type would be cool. I've been thinking about making a fan game about a large city, and was looking for inspiration. If you had a not type based theme, what would it be?I ended up making a Dog theme team, and it wound up actually being really effective online, so this gave me that idea, but I used all single types.Stoutland, Granbull, Arcanine, Manectric, Lycanroc(day form), and Mightyena.Though, with the removal of Megas (and how effective he would up being in my Shield playthrough) I've been considering replacing Manectric with Boltund.I also just started working on another team, but I'm still doing the breeding to get them good IVs, but the concept was Team Players:Vespiquen, Dragapult, Falinks, Kangaskhan, Dugtrio, and Wishi-Washi. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/3DmC6Xa
