"Tip: Your Pokemon reach 100% of their potential at level 39, not 40."

#PokemonGO: Pokemon can be powered up to 1.5 levels higher than the trainer level, so at level 39 you already have level 40 pokemon, which is the max. This is a handy 5,000,000xp saved.Edit: It's come to my attention that the max pokemon level may actually be 39 - whether it's a bug or not - so that trainers could max at level 38. The source is the following post wherein players were unable to get their Dragonites past 3450CP without using a tool that's against the TOS. This would be new information. If you know more or have a lvl40 account please share :) via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2c8C1dP
