"GamerReality on Kickstarter were making a bluetooth 'pokeball' to use with the app. Now Nintendo has instructed them to take down all copyrighted materials."

#PokemonGO: So about last month I backed a project on Kickstarter that was to make a real-life Pokeball that worked with Pokemon Go through bluetooth. They assured backers that it was an official product and that is why I backed it for $50.Yesterday I was looking at another project, and just happened to notice that the project's name has changed. I looked at the page and found that (without any announcement) the project has been drastically changed as Nintendo told them to take down any copyrighted material. They also revealed they have not gained partnership with Niantic in any form whatsoever.I have luckily cancelled my pledge, however, as there has been no official announcement (from the company to notify the backers), many will probably back the project not realising the changes as they will get something completely different from what they pledged for. That is why I am posting this here. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2ddIxAi
