"If potions are scarce compared to how often you battle, don't fully restore your attackers health."

#PokemonGO: This became prevalent when taking to people last night I met at a lure bananza, basically everyone agreed on how limited their gym interactions we're due to potions. The main point is that any portion of potion not used is wasted. Meaning that if your Pokemon is lacking 10HP, using a potion is wasting half of it. It may not seem like much, but saving potions for gym defenders who require full health is a better use of wasting potion potential.A second benefit which I recently found out the hard way is that if you don't fully heal your attackers, you'll never accidentally place them in gyms. One more thing, let if you come out of a battle with your Vaporeon or other high HP mon with more than ~25% HP, don't heal them until after your next battle. Be sure to switch out before fainting so that you can make legitimate use of max potions, or even let them faint to make full use of max revives. I have legitimate OCD and always want my Pokemon fully healed all the time, but it's such a waste. Don't hoard your max revives and potions, just use them wisely :)I have basically unlimited access to a small town down the street filled with dozens of stops and potions are still a hot commodity so I can't imagine what it's like for people in lesser dense areas. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2ivWq1k
