"[Experiment] Wanted to test whether name trick or buddy distance + evolve time takes precedence for Espeon/Umbreon evolution"

#PokemonGO: In the first few days of gen 2, when people had discovered both the naming trick and the "friendship" method to evolve Espeon/Umbreon, I noticed a few people asking this - what if you use the name trick on an Eevee and evolve it in the opposite time of the day as compared to the name (for instance, naming it "Sakura" and evolving in the night, or "Tamao" and evolving at day) - which would take precedence, the name or the time? I decided to test this on a dummy account. Obviously, the condition for this is that the name trick isn't used at all before (since it works only once).So, I set one Eevee as a buddy, and walked it a little more than 10km (to make sure there was no distance bug) and checked to see if I got 2 candy, which I did. After that, I named the Eevee "Sakura" (the name if you want an Espeon), and evolved the buddy Eevee at night, directly from the buddy screen.The result: Espeon was evolved. I would like to test this more times, but I can only test this once more on this account.
