"Anonymizing nest reports"

#PokemonGO: I was browsing through local nests on the atlas and noticed a couple of familiar trainer names from local gyms. Okay, no big deal, that's to be expected. But then I started browsing nests in cities a little way away and found one of the same trainers over and over again. The pattern of nests that one trainer visits is enough for me to pin down pretty much their entire weekly routine. We've heard enough mentions of gym-related harassment here on TSR that I don't think it's a stretch to imagine someone stalking their rivals, and the potential worries me a bit. I think detaching nest reports from individual trainer names might be useful. Can we please have a way to make nest reports anonymous and only tied to user IDs via server-side data? via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2pS7hqu
