"My Lapras Saga almost ended up with my arrest"
#PokemonGO: [Story] I live in Venice, CA, and there is a Twitter feed that alerts locals to some rarer spawns. Around Midnight last night, a Lapras appeared about 2 blocks from my house, on the beach, close to the shoreline. So I rode my bike to the general area and started to walk with my bike over the sand to get to the spawn spot. For those of you that know Venice beach, it is about 1/2 mile from the street to the shore. It became too cumbersome to walk the bike with one hand, with my phone in the other, so i leaned my bike against one of the many garbage cans on the beach and hauled ass to catch the beast before it disappeared. Of course, many berry and ultra balls later, it escaped. Now its pitch black and I can't find where i left my bike, so i start using my phone light to search for it. Well the cops happened to be patrolling, and they notice the light. I should mention because of the multitudes of homeless in the area, it's illegal to be on the beach after 11:00 p.m. I was forced to humiliate myself and tell them I was hunting for Pokemon...i'm a 42 year old white guy. They just stared at me for a second, burst into laughter, and told me to get off the beach. I was like, yes sir, i'll just show myself the way. :-| via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2pHnoY0
