"Prestiging with Ditto"

#PokemonGO: Hi TSR, I've stumbled upon a new use for all the Dittos I've been collecting and how their changing CP makes them useful as trainers for prestiging.The following points make this observation obvious in retrospect:1.)Prestige gained during a training battle is governed by a relatively simple formula that maxes out when the highest CP of the Pokemon in your group of six is less than or equal to 1/2 of the CP of the defending Pokemon.2.)Prestige is added to the gym after the completion of each battle, not in aggregate at the end of your run.1 + 2 =>3.) Prestige gained is calculated at the end of each battle based on the CP of Pokemon in your six at the time of battle completion.3 seems trivial and pointless. The max CP of your six Pokemon doesn't change between battles....unless you've brought a Ditto to the party. I'll illustrate the relevance below.Consider the following standard 6000 prestige lvl 3 gym you'd like to prestige up to lvl 4 in one go. It's defenders are: 2000CP Lapras 2500CP Dragonite 3000CP DragoniteExample trainers:1000CP Bolteon 230CP Ditto 278CP Ditto The rest of your slots can be filled up with whatever <=1000CP attackers.a.)Your Bolteon powers through Lapras, 1, 2, and 3 are applied, and the gym gets 1000 prestige.b.)Bolteon then eats it to the first Dragonite, and your first Ditto is up. It transforms into a 1250CP Dragonite and beats the defender. 1, 2, and 3 are applied, and the gym gets 1000 prestige.c.)The process is then repeated with your second attacking Ditto on the second defending Dragonite. Here your Ditto would transform to approximately 1500CP Dragonite. 1, 2, and 3 are applied, and the gym gets 1000 prestige.Using this method, you can train using transformed Dittos with CP greater than 1/2 CP of the first defender and still get 1000 prestige for every defender you beat.Ditto still has horrible HP, and Dragonite with dragon moves is really the only defender where this method may be useful, but I was excited to figure this out and wanted to share it.P.S.
