"Rumor TBC: New Daily Maximum catches per day until (partial) softban!"

#PokemonGO: I couldn't find any related topics so here we go.It has been a known fact (albeit not admitted by Niantic) that there was a 24 hour limit for spinning stops and catching pokemons (i cannot verify if fleed pokemon is counted as a quota for catching pokemon) (please verify if anyone has knowledge of this). The limits were 2000 stops per 24 hours and 1000 pokemons per 24 hours. (I believe these numbers were "confirmed" by bots and dedicated players (Jimmy who created the Jimmy loop) in the early stages of this game. Needless to say, these limits are very reachable by humans at a 4+ lured location in 10 hour play time. Now the time jumps to yesterday that one of my pokemon gang member had a similar soft ban style (can spin stop, can walk buddy, but one ball flee on all pokemon). Tested on different phones to no avail. After some research, it has been rumored in the community that:-For those of you that are having the weird softban happening where you can still spin stops but all Pokémon were fleeing, there is a reason. DAILY CATCH limit has decreased from 1000 to roughly 500 for Day #1, then roughly 200 on a consecutive day, BUT ONLY if you hit the limit yesterday. (Keep about 400 mon per day and you will not incur the lowered second day limit) POKESTOP SPIN daily limit has decreased from 2000 to roughly 1500. Waiting for 100% confirmation, but it seems that this is the case.I do sense a lot of merits in this alleged decrease from 1000 to 500. My friend did not play that much as to catch 1000 in 24 hours. His pre ban 24 history was roughly (1) 9 hours of 1 lured go+ and (2) 5 hours of 4 lured manual catch. Regardless of how optimistic you consider, the maximum should be 209 +1005 <700.While there is some merits to this new decrease, i do have doubts as to the time frame. I GUESS that the time frame remains as the "past 24 hours" instead of daily because:-my friend noticed the partial soft ban at around 4pm and remained banned until 9:15pm. She was then able to catch some more until 10:00pm ish and encountered another ban. She tried again at 1:00am and the ban was lifted.Considering that scenario. It does not seem likely that the time frame is the same as the daily bonus. I believe that it remains to be the "past 24 hours". However, if it is the past 24 hours, how will the next 200 limit be considered?MAJOR complaint: I hate this decrease, 500 is very much attainable in a city environment under 4+ lured for 5 hours. However, I do understand why they might want to decrease the limit (limit bot leveling up or slow down the progress of the entire pogo community). Whichever is the case, I am fine with it. However, I am NOT OKAY with not having a counter in game. If such counter is in game, i can see when i catch 499 or 490 to be safe and stop playing unless an unown appears. However, this hidden figure is just crazy and keep track everyday.TL;DR version: the "daily" limit for catching pokemon is rumored to decrease from 1,000 to 500. If a person surpasses the limit in day 1, the day 2 limit becomes 200.Please confirm and share your findings or experience with this new limit.PS: I play primarily in Hong Kong so 4 or 4+ lures are common. This is not the thread to be unhappy about rural experience. Besides, cities like tokyo and taipei have reported 8+ lures. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2pZeRgq
