"With Pokemon: Let's Go targeting a younger and more casual audience, could this mean the 2019 game will finally target a more mature audience?"

In an interview with Masuda, GameFreak states they are purposefully targeting a younger and more casual audience . One of the complaints about Pokemon games from hardcore fans has been how long it takes to get out of the tutorial and that the story is not very good because it has to be understood by the younger audience. Is it possible that this is the change hardcore fans have been asking for? More difficult gameplay and possibly a more in-depth story could be waiting for us in the 2019 game.Edit: Because people are taking "mature" the wrong way, I mean it in the sense that the games would be targeted towards non-children. E.g. less tutorial, less handholding, a difficulty setting. Not in the way that suggests more adult-like themes. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2L8gphS
