"Why did Pallet town decide to fence off the local tangela population?"

There's that little patch of grass underneath pallet town, the only place in all of kano where Tangela can be found in the wild. Why did they fence them off? Is Tangela a hazardous species?Since that's the only place they're found, is it a nature reserve? Did oak fence them off to protect them from more dangerous/competitive species? Why are all the Tangela in kanto imprisoned on this little patch of land? via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2LNMGeZ
