"I'm about to replay pokemon platinum, with a twist"

So, I wanted to do a solo run, but I didn't wanna do it with a ridiculously weak pokemon. So, I decided to pick something that's pretty garbage, but is more of a middle ground than anything: Cubone.That's right, I'm gonna solo the entire game, with my only pokemon being one single Cubone (aside from HM slaves).The only rules I'm putting in for this run is no evolutions. It's gonna stay a Cubone till the very end.How will I do this, you ask?Well, I'm gonna use a save editor / gameshark to modify the beginning starter pokemon to make one of them a Cubone.I'm not gonna hack in an everstone this time, cause I want the rest of the run to be legit.There's some moments that I can forsee as rage inducing, and I don't doubt it will be hard, but I'm willing to stick through it, just to see the satisfaction of having a hall of fame listing with one lone skeleton baby.Wish me luck everyone! via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2NBBZgm
