"My girlfriend - the luckiest player I've seen so far."

#PokemonGO: Hey guys, just thought I'd share to you a story about how my girlfriend is one of the luckiest players I've came across.My girlfriend started playing at release but mostly lost interest after a few months and is only level 27. The story starts back the first day that Omanyte / Kabuto shiny's were released in game, she hasn't loaded the game up in goodness knows how long, so I drove my car towards a gym with a machamp raid going on and ask for her help, she reluctantly accepts and loads the game up. Everything on the little bottom pokemon scanner is blacked out and I say to her "keep an eye out for a little octopus shell thing and a little crab, they're rare and they've just released the shiny forms, the crab shiny is green and the octopus shiny is purple".Immediately she says "I've got one of those green crab things". My heart immediately starts going crazy and sure enough, after months of not playing her first encounter is a shiny kabuto which she captures with ease. I'm in the raid lobby waiting for the time to drop down and an Omanyte spawns, sure enough I hear "ooh this one's purple!" as she starts throwing pokeballs at it, at this point I'm half amazed half infuriated and she catches the omanyte like its nothing. I call her a few expletive words and we do the raid without problem.Skip forward to a few weeks ago on the day shiny wingull is released and she's doing a DJ gig which is coincidentally on top of a pokestop, I tell her to load up and spin the stop all night, I don't tell her about the shiny.Skip a few hours and I'm picking her up from the gig, I'm checking through her recently caught pokemon and sure enough there's a shiny wingull sitting pretty right there, I ramble at her again calling her a lucky S.O.B and I'm incredibly tilted.We now hit the close of the story which happened today, we were in my local city because she was doing her driving theory test (we're from the UK), she comes out and screams that she passed the test, I jokingly say we should celebrate by doing this new pokemon raid that's been organised on the local discord group, she actually accepts this offer which I'm surprised at because the last time she loaded the game up was the night she got the shiny wingull.We just finish battling mewtwo and someone says that the lookout cp for a 100% mewtwo is 2275, sure enough as I'm talking to another guy she says "I have that number". At this point I'm thinking "here we go again", I tell her to use a golden razzberry which she does, she then throws a random ball and gets no catch bonus at all but sure enough that damned mewtwo stays in the ball first time.So that's the story, I'm thinking of just giving her my account at this point because she's such a damned lucky player, despite near enough never actually playing. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2NtGX2F
