"How to do 100 Trades in About an Hour; Maximize Candy & Luckies"

#PokemonGO: It's a familiar scene, I meet with someone to do a lucky or planned trade (e.g. Regional) and I ask them if they want to trade anything else. After about 2-3 minutes of stammering, they find something to trade and it drives me crazy. So how can we do this faster?I organize a weekly trade with a friend to maximize candies and luckies, and most importantly, my time. Here is my guide to do just this, provided you have a partner that does the same thing:Collect PVP (e.g. Stunfisk) and Level 20+ Meta/future relevant (e.g. Snivy) mons for trading and those you want candy for (e.g. Litwick).Hatch 7KM eggs from friends over 100 KM away from the trading partner (e.g. search Twitter, FB groups etc for those who want distance friends too). This is to give you trading candidates with distance (get 3 candy per trade).Rename the pokemon:"Candy", those you want three candy for. Your partner may get a valuable lucky."Distance", this will give your partner candy, you might be the recipient of a valuable lucky.Optional: "Distance 10K" (if over 10K KM away) just in case another poorly thought out World Tourism Day task is handed out for shiny possibilities."Trade", is for those you don't need candy for but your partner might get good luckies or PVP-ideal pokemon.Optional: "Trade 2" for pokemon that will give your partner 2 candy in case they sort of want or don't mind getting two candies out of a trade."Lucky Trade" for those that you are saving for the future (e.g. Deino)."Age" Pokemon from 2016 for when your partner has something you want a higher chance of being lucky. See this Silph Road article on age vs lucky odds. If your partner has something good to trade, ask if they don't mind getting an "age" instead of a "Distance".Plan, prepare, execute...Plan to meet up and plan out your special trade (e.g. shiny trade, legendary flip)Prepare, both people should have their own system for these naming conventions/classificationsMet up and do a friend interaction first if you are best friends to see if you trigger a Lucky Trade. Note: I find resetting the app before the trade helps with app reliabilityAfter the Lucky test, do your special trade so it is not forgotten. One person does "Distance" while the other does "Candy" (Note: by doing this so much over the months, I don't need any more Riolu or Cranidos candy)Flip "Candy" for "Distance", prioritize what you need the most candy for in case they don't have many distance mons. After the "Distance" and/or "Candy" supply is depleted, switch to "Trade" until you hit the limit.I have found that if we are prepared we can mix in some chit chat and knock out this in about an hour. I find the average trading session nets between 4-6 luckies but there have been stretches where we hit zero and others where we hit closer to ten. If your partner gets a good lucky and you get something that was distance trash, you celebrate anyway. Don't keep score/get jealous, it all balances out.Best of luck.Edit: Collect decent pokemon when you travel away from home, keeping a stash of 50 is always recommended by myself. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/38bCNUe
