"About Kabu..."

So, something just hit me. Kabu the fire type Gym Leader in Pokémon Sword and Shield comes from the Hoenn region. Flannery is the Hoenn region's fire type Gym Leader, and she mentions to she recently got the position from her grandfather... I find it very interesting that her grandpa wouldn't give the position to his own child first.Conclusion: my new fan theory is that Kabu is Flannery's father!
