"Best practices for walking/hatching eggs"

#PokemonGO: As many of you have probably noticed, the egg kms don't seem to update very often or gradually. All of a sudden you'll see a jump. I've found that force-closing the app seems to send your distance to the server and when you open the app your distance is updated. If this is the case (and that'll take some more testing) then it seems a best practice would be to force-close the app any time you're about to turn around and go back the way you came. This way it doesn't assume you took a shorter walk in the original direction just because it sees you're back that direction now.Anyone have any tips or links to best practices/hacks for hatching eggs most efficiently? via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/29TfvHi
