"Here's how many max-level pokemon you can Juggle!"

#PokemonGO: Ever wonder how many pokemon you can keep at max level? I did the math and have some answers!Consider that every time you gain a level, all of your pokemon can be powered-up two more times. It takes a lot of stardust to do this. Stardust is primarily earned by catching pokemon, which also gains you XP. Thus, if you try to juggle too-many pokemon, you'll level-up faster than you can keep your pokemon powered-up! Therefore, you can only juggle so many max-level pokemon at a time.So How many can you juggle?Depends on a few things. First, depends on how much of your XP you earn from catching pokemon. You get both 100 xp and 100 stardust from each pokemon catch. However, you can also get xp from good throws, XP eggs, new pokedex entries, hatching eggs, flipping pokestops, etc. For the numbers I give below I'm going to assume 50% of your XP gained per level is from base pokemon catches. If you think that more or less of your XP is earned strictly by catching pokemon, adjust accordingly. Also, I'm going to assume that you're spending 100% of all the stardust you earn just keeping your existing max-level pokemon topped off. That means that if you do juggle the number of pokemon listed, theres no room to do anything else with your stardust, like rank-up a newly caught pokemon. So, with that all out of the way, here are the numbers!Trainer Level 10-14: 1.8 PokemonTrainer Level 15-19: 2.3 PokémonTrainer Level 20: 2.3 PokémonTrainer Level 21: 4.2 PokemonTrainer Level 22: 5.8 PokemonTrainer Level 23: 7.1 PokémonTrainer Level 24: 8.3 PokémonTrainer Level 25: 9.94 PokémonTrainer Level 26: 11.2 PokémonTrainer Level 27: 11.1 PokémonTrainer Level 28: 13.2 PokemonTrainer Level 29: 15.0 PokémonTrainer Level 30: 15.9 PokémonThere you have it!My takeaway from this is that its not really practical to juggle more than 1 or 2 max-level pokemon until you're level 20 or higher. Even then, I actually don't recommend juggling the actual number listed, because again, that means you're using ALL of your stardust just to keep pace with your existing pokemon's appetite. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/29PpVDO
