"I found an Android feature that could help improve ball-throwing technique"

#PokemonGO: So, I was frustrated trying to improve my ball-throwing skills because I personally was never sure what path my finger actually took on that throw in order to avoid it (if it was terrible) or repeat it (if it was Excellent for example). I really want to figure out when and how to consistently achieve good curveballs and get the bonuses (and really to just stop missing in general). So, I did a little digging and discovered that, in Android, there is a feature that you can enable that will allow you to see the patch your finger took after every screen touch. It has its downsides (more on that shortly) but I think it could really help.Check out the album to see what it looks like. The first picture is the feature that you need to enable to use this. The others are what the screen looks like after it records touches. Neat, huh?How it helpsThe advantages look pretty good. The trace shows exactly how you moved your finger when you threw. Combined with a screenshot you could actually collect a decent amount of data on what works and what doesn't. For example, on some of those wild curveballs that seem to come from nowhere, I noticed that my finger actually curved at the end (insert inadvertent curveball rage here).Possible downsideThe downside is that, while the feature is enabled, it records ALL screen touches like this and also has a data overlay that stays at the top of your screen. This could be more or less of an issue depending on how bothered by that you are. You can always disable the feature when you aren't Pokemon Going though, if you wanted. If you are still interested here is how to activate it:First you need to activate Developer Mode on your Android phone (if you haven't already). It's really easy and doesn't do anything to your phone besides adding another choice to your settings menu.Open Settings> About> Software Information> More. Then tap “Build number” seven times to enable Developer options. ...Go back to Settings menu and now you'll be able to see “Developer options” there.Once you have done that (or if you already had) it's just one stepOpen Developer Options and enable "Pointer Location"And you're done!Anyways, I think this might be helpful to me and thought it might be helpful to others as well.
