"Pokewalker App for Sun/Moon - would anyone else want this?"
We've all seen the popularity of Pokemon Go - it shows that people are willing to get up and out of the house for Pokemon. For me personally, as I've been playing, I've been taking both my Pokewalker from HG/SS and my 3DS with me for any potential streetpass. The thought occured to me that maybe a new 3DS app for pokemon Sun/Moon would be a good idea that acted as a pokewalker (and didn't require a separate device like in HG/SS)It could connect either directly to the game or even use the Pokebank. You would choose a pokemon to go on a stroll with and then take your walkSince the 3DS can track steps (and gives out coins for them) - the app could use that information in generating rewards, tracking progress, etc.Coins can be used to purchase items, TMs, or unlock other trails to take your pokemon on (which would allow you to find different pokemon and items)You can also use the coins for a chance to find a new pokemon as you can with the Pokewalker.Streetpass can be enabled to allow players to "gift" each other things for the pokemon currently on a strollat the end of the day, the app would return the pokemon to the Bank or to your cart - potentially earning levels based on how long you walked. The preference would be a free app to go with the game, but realistically, it would be a cheap app for those who wanted to pick it up. via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2acHLmD
