"PSA: the Freezing Pokeball Glitch and You."
#PokemonGO: Myself and about 20 volunteers spent 4 hours sitting in between 4 lured pokestops last night testing this phenomenon on both platforms, and these are our results.First and foremost, It seems that the glitch, by and large, only occurs on the throw that would have ended the encounter anyway. It seems that it is purely visual in nature, and that the actual encounter gets played out to its conclusion. If you experience this glitch, do the following:Count to 20, make sure you're actually experiencing the glitch and not a bit of lag.Force close your app.Upon reopening, check your Journal. The results should be listed there. If it says you caught it, great! If it says it ran away, that's sad, but it would have happened either way, glitch or no glitch. I repeat, this glitch did NOT cause you to lose a pokemon. In the unlikely event (we only had it happen twice in well over a hundred instances) that there is no journal entry, then (barring despawn of course) the pokemon should still be available for another try.Long story short, it seems to be a minor inconvenience at best, and not the game breaking bug everyone is making it out to be. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/29GUCg5
