"Has Flee Rate in AR vs. non-AR mode been researched?"

#PokemonGO: I know it doesn't seem like it would make much of a difference, but in my admittedly anecdotal experience, I seem to get less fleeing mons with it on. I'm level 22 and like anyone else 20+, seems like I can barely catch a weedle these days. It's also possible that I'm just desperate for a solution and finding patterns where there aren't any.
