"Do you approve of using more remote towns' gyms?"
#PokemonGO: My town is fairly suburban, but stops are very spread out, the few gyms are the same, and the pickings are mundane. Anywhere you want to go and grind stops and catches is a drive away (not a long one thankfully). We sit between two larger cities.Yesterday, I walked to the only gym near to me and found it Red again. Not unusual, Red and Blue alternate control all the time here and I'm on Yellow (=n=). But this time the gym was level 10. This (http://ift.tt/2cUEl9A) was the lowest option to fight. Inside was Dragonites / Arcanine / Exeggutor / Vaporeons / Flareon / Blastoise (at the top surprisingly). No username was familiar to me.Today I went around and found every gym in the area to be Red and most Lv6 or higher. Every barrier-to-entry 1700 or higher, often 2000+. I did chip at some of them I had an advantage at, but I didn't make much dent before my items ran low. I am Lv22 and the best of my lackluster crew is a Tauros.Best as I can figure, a group of friends from the same team came from one of the two nearby cities and spent the time to fully upgrade the gyms and put guys in. Lets assume these are NOT spoofers and these are people who legitimately did this.`...I can see the practical uses to going somewhere weaker, training up what you take over, and leaving your best defenders to rake in the coins. You have an advantage in levels to many areas and your own home turf has become either stale or full of very high level enemies....But then again everyone who is playing in my area is forced out until the two other teams chip away at these (most Red in my town would not be able to train up these gyms and are locked out too).Do you guys think using other places to your advantage is legitimate or overly unsporting? I am here, negatively affected, and yet I cannot tell if I am against it. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2cYvR4G
