"How to safely trade-evolve Pokemon using 2 games and 1 3DS"

I don't know how well known this method is, so please forgive me if I repeat common knowledge.Step 1: Catch something you don't need (e.g. lv. 3 Pidgey) and put it into the GTS. Demand a soon-to-be-trade-evolved Pokemon (e.g. Haunter) you already own in your other game.Step 2: Start your other game and trade your soon-to-be-trade-evolved Pokemon (e.g. Haunter) for the worthless Pokemon you put into the GTS. This will work 99.9% of the time because nobody else would be willing to trade a Haunter for a Pidgey. On the off-chance that another player traded his Haunter for your Pidgey, congrats. You just got yourself an additional trade-evolved Pokemon.Step 3: To trade your fully evolved Pokemon back, repeat steps 1 and 2: Put your worthless Pokemon in the GTS first (!) and demand your trade-evolved Pokemon (e.g. Gengar). Again, nobody else will trade a trade-evolved Pokemon for something as worthless as a lv.3 Pidgey. The only danger you are facing is that you accidentally trade your soon-to-be-trade-evolved or trade-evolved Pokemon to a stranger who happens to have the same ingame name as you in your other game and who deposited the same worthless trash as you. To avoid that risk, add a unique message to your worthless Pokemon when you put it into the GTS.Edit: u/Snobbels pointed out that Step 3 can be replaced by transferring your Pokemon back via Bank, this might be an even faster way! via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2bMjQsm
