"[Research suggestion] Possible change in capture rate as result of new spawn data/migration. Hypothesis: Capture rates have been adjusted to correlate more closely with Pokemon level/CP and/or trainer level."
#PokemonGO: Would love to discuss if someone is interested in heading research/analysis initiative. (I would love to, but unfortunately do not have the mental capacity as I'm a new mom with a 4 month old daughter - and my mind has not been firing on all cylinders with this whole sleep deprivation thing 😉)Anecdotal evidence: 0% flee rate of common Pokemon that spawned through incense this morning. Used regular ball on all catches. I use incense daily at same location, and in the past would have an average of 33% flee rate with the same common, low CP Pokemon (pidgeys, weedles, rattata, etc.)I'm level 28 and felt like throwing my phone several times when, for example, a 70 CP weedle would escape from a ball and run away after a "great" or "excellent" throw. It would be wonderful if this has been fixed...UPDATE: Went to a nearby park and caught 22 of 23 common/relatively common and relatively low CP Pokemon with regular balls. Only one fled - a 200 CP Spearow. I did need to use a great ball to catch a relatively low CP diglet (uncommon in my area) though. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2dopM1h
