"It'd be nice if the devs slipped a few new Megas (or Alolan Forms) into the game without announcing them beforehand just to surprise us."

With so much information being thrown at us prior to release, I really hope that we'll still have new things to discover in the game. New Pokemon are guaranteed (unless if they decide to give us the whole Pokedex list prior to release), but new Alolan forms and Megas would be cool as well. Just imagine playing your game, minding your own business when suddenly, some random dude gives you a Flygonite. Or walking along a beach and encountering some overworld Alolan Grimer and Muk playing with Sandygast and Palossand (or maybe, you encounter both evo lines in a Horde battle, if those are returning).Yes, I'm aware that Megas are prohibited in the upcoming competitive format, but a few new Megas wouldn't hurt, right? It'd be a nice little surprise to catch us off guard considering that this is the most information we've been given prior to a main-series game's release. The only problem is knowing the internet, they'd probably complete the game and find out everything there is to know in a week's time after release. via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2dTIauM
