""Niantic finds new innovative way to prevent people from opening their own Pokémon app.""

#PokemonGO: Details follow in our interview with Niantic CEO John Hanke, to get the inside scoop on the future of PokemonGO."We really just want to experiment on what it would take for people to not open our app anymore, y'know?" Hanke said.He further explained how removing the tracking system was pivotal once people kept playing the game passed level 20."I couldn't believe that people continued opening our app when we purposely raised the amount of experience required to level up to absurd levels. Once that happened I knew we just couldn't have this, so we fixed the tracking system by removing it."When pressed about the third party tracking systems, Hanke said taking them down took first priority."People started opening our app way too much. It scared me, to be honest. We had to work against this."It still amazes Hanke that people continue to open PokemonGO, despite purposely providing so many empty promises, pointless updates, cautionary pop-ups, and rewards that don't mean anything. However, Hanke was hopeful that his newest innovation will be a real success."We just released our newest update which completely revolutionized the experience. Now that we removed Pokémon from the game entirely once you travel speeds beyond 30 mph, this will prevent people from opening the app when they go for a drive." Hanke said, as his face lit up with anticipation. "Mark my words, we will have zero players by Christmas, I can tell you that much." via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2eqzVZ1
