#PokemonGO: I'm reposting a super simplified (but more comprehensive!) version of my research, since my first post was incomprehensible. Please refer to that original post for more information. In the long run, you will not run out of candies if you evolve:every pokemon that you catch with IV ≥ 57% if it requires 12 candies to evolve;every pokemon that you catch with IV ≥ 68% if it requires 25 candies to evolve;every pokemon that you catch with IV ≥ 77% if it requires 50 candies to evolve;every pokemon that you catch with IV ≥ 79% if it requires 12+50 candies to evolve;every pokemon that you catch with IV ≥ 83% if it requires 25+100 candies to evolve;every pokemon that you catch with IV ≥ 90% if it requires 400 candies to evolve. Power-ups, eggs and the level of pokemon caught are not taken into consideration.
