"To conserve mobile data on a reinstall, while on WiFi view every Pokemon you've already caught via the Pokedex to download the models and conserve mobile data."

#PokemonGO: edit: I said conserve mobile data twice, damn. The game as you get it from the Play Store doesn't come with the Pokemon models, and they are downloaded as they appear on the map. By viewing them in the Pokedex, it downloads the models so that you won't have to do it as you encounter them on the go.I figured this out because I recently had to reinstall the game on my phone. My data limit for the month was already reached, which meant that my internet speeds were severely throttled. When I tried playing Pokemon Go, Pokemon would load on the map, but they would essentially be invisible. The faint circle would load indicating where a Pokemon was supposed to be, but there was nothing there and I couldn't click anything. If I waited long enough, eventually a Pokemon would load. However, I found that if I viewed the Pokemon first in the PokeDex, I no longer encountered this problem. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2dociie
