When I first heard it fighting Kukui, it just seemed like a really cool champion theme to end the game. But when I went through again and fought Hau, who has his OWN theme, I couldn't help but wonder why it didn't play his song. Same thing for Gladion.But then it hit me.What if the song isn't meant for them, it's for you? TBH the only thing I have to back this up is what I've said so far and the fact that the song starts the same way the pokemon theme does for every single game.
