"New Gym bug? No fighting! Pacificatied Pokemon."

#PokemonGO: Hi, I just encountered a gym bug I've never heard of before. Everything works until the actual fight starts, but then both Pokemon just stand there and look at each other. I still can input attacks (you can see the short flashing animation when you tip on the screen) but the Pokemon just don't want to hurt each other.Trying to flee lets the acknowledgment screen appear, but even after confirming I just stay in battle. The only way to exit the battle is to restart the app. I even tried walking away to force an error, but I simply stay in the, not very exciting, "battle". No matter how far I move away.Does anyone know how I can fix this or how to work around?
