"If you thought the current starters were underpowered just wait for Gen II"
#PokemonGO: Meganium: a mono-grass type that will essentially be a weaker Venusaur, with similar bulk but a much lower attack stat (therefore lower CP). Except to make it worse Meganium takes SE damage from poison and bug attacks. Though it won't have the psychic weakness. Meganium can learn vine whip in the actual games, so we'll have to see if it gets that in PoGo.Typhlosion: a mono-fire type with the exact same stats and CP as Charizard. Typhlosion can't learn fire fang, so it will likely have ember as a fast attack. It will be a Charizard without wing attack and the flying-typing to give it that .64x resistance to grass and bug attacks (as well as .8x resistance to fighting, significant for the Heracross matchup). Expect Typhlosion to be another ember/fire blast user that is weaker than Flareon.Feraligatr: mono-water type that could have a similar move pool to Blastoise, maybe getting bite and water gun as fast moves. Unlike the other Gen II starters, Feraligatr will have better stats and a higher CP than its Gen I counterpart. However, Feraligatr, at just 2721 CP, even if it gets water gun/ hydro pump, is still a weaker Vaporeon.Basically the new starters will be hard to catch, hard to find, hard to evolve (125 candies probably), weaker versions of what you probably already have at this point in the game. Without new moves or abilities being added to the game, I don't see any use in having them besides filling the dex. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2iP5Jas
