This is a signal. You are within range to help, help who? The NPC that has appeared on the map. Just like you can see stops and gyms in the distance there would be an icon for this NPC.So when you are within range of the NPC you tap on them and up pops text like the Appraisal. They will give you a mission, this could be something like walk 2km, go collect something from a Pokestop (it gets highlighted like the tracker), catch a certain amount of a type of pokemon.The harder the challenge the greater the reward, anything can be added to these rewards realistically.This could also be used as a system for Team Rocket but instead you battle them rather than gather for them. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2jeUTyf
