"[Research Help] Eeveelution time dependency"

#PokemonGO: TL:DR I think that eeveelutions are time dependent and need help investigating. Evolve the same eevee caught on separate accounts at the exact same time.Motivation: Wife and I play together and have fun evolving our best catches at the end of the night. We usually do a countdown 3...2...1...evolve. Last few nights we have noticed a trend without eeveelutions. When we hit the button at the exact same time we get the same eeveelution and same move set. When we are off by a second it is the same eeveelution but different move set. Off by more than a few seconds and we get different eeveelutions.Research Time: I think eeveelutions and maybe move sets are determined by the timestamp of the server call. I would like help testing out a few different scenarios. If you have access to multiple accounts let’s try the following. Catch the same eevee with account #1 (Eevee #1) and account #2 (Eevee #2).Methods: Experimental Variables (Time and IP Address)Test 1: Wifi1a: Evolve #1 and #2 at the exact same time while both accounts are on the same wifi1b: Evolve #1 and #2 with a 1 second time delay while both accounts are on the same wifi1c: Evolve #1 and #2 with a 2 second time delay while both accounts are on the same wifiTest 2: Mobile Data (4G)1a: Evolve #1 and #2 at the exact same time while both accounts are on the same 4G1b: Evolve #1 and #2 with a 1 second time delay while both accounts are on the same 4G1c: Evolve #1 and #2 with a 2 second time delay while both accounts are on the same 4GResults:Kindly report in the following formatEevee#1 evolution: Move set: Time evolution button pressed (MM:SS): Wifi/4GEevee#2 evolution: Move set: Time evolution button pressed (MM:SS): Wifi/4GConclusion:Results will be imported into excel where 2 way anova statistical analysis will be used to prove any correlation** Many are correct that these observations may be due to conformation bias but that is the point of performing statistical analysis on a data set. 2 way anova will rule out individual bias and determine if there is any correlation between variables. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2jk5hVa
