"What's the mathematically unsound thing that you do that gives you great joy in this game?"
#PokemonGO: So i've made so many mistakes early on before we knew what we knew. But I still make some "mistakes" now and misallocate resources because there are things that make me happy. My big joy is to take 100%IV Pokemon (I have 4 that i know of, may have sent some off to pokevalhalla in July and maybe August), and power them up to level 30. This is horribly inefficient, and a waste of stardust. My 4 perfect IV pokemon, moreover are:Pidgeot: Wing Attack / Hurricane (caught at level 25, so no regrets)Raticate: Wild Caught level 23: Quick Attack / Hyper Beam (I frequently leave him as a gym defender for the lulz, especially if there's a chansey in front of it. King Rat indeed). http://ift.tt/2j7IxYK: Hatched, Peck and Icy Wind, worst possible moveset, kind of a useless but awesome looking pokemon, powered it up to 30 anyway. 1700ish doesnt get you into any good gym. Womp womp womp.Rapidash: Also hatched. Low Kick/Fire blast. I use this sometimes against snorlaxes, but was not worth powering up to 30.Still, no ragerets. Will power up every 100 IV pokemon i see to level 30, no matter the stardust cost. What's your irrational joy?Edit: It seems hugely unlikely, but my big hope is someone says "that's a huge seaking", then looks it up somehow and realizes it's perfect...I won't ever know if it happens though via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2js6vMT
