"The fastest and strongest counters of the current gym meta pokémon"

#PokemonGO: TL; DR:Start collecting Machop now!As it currently stands a Machamp with Counter + Dynamic Punch is a very good counter of Blissey, Snorlax and Tryanitar both in damage per second and in endurance.Rhydon's best counter is still Vaporeon if you go for endurance, but the C+D Machamp is best if you go for DPS.Piloswine is the new Dragon slayer. Powder Snow's huge EPS combined with the powerful 2 bar 90 power Avalanche makes this pokémon and excellent trainer against Dragonite.Don't neglect those Swinubs, collect them till they last!Gengar's large base attack combined with its Hex + Shadow Ball moveset makes him have the largest DPS in the game. It often outperforms the pokémon that would have type effectiveness otherwise.Recently I wrote a program to analyze the protobuff files. So I decided to do the analysis to find out which pokémon are the best counters of the current gym meta pokémon.MethodFor each pokémon and all their moveset I simulated attacks against a punching bag for 1000 seconds. Charged attacks used immediately, only the move power, STAB and effectiveness was considered (so ATK/DEF ratio was 1 and the 1/2 multiplier was ignored). The rounding was ignored (so the numbers are under estimating the actual DPS a bit), because the amount of extra damage given by rounding is very highly dependent on the situation.Then divided the damage by the time spent to get a raw DPS value.Then I multiplied this number with (baseATK+15) (assuming players look for good and perfect IVs) to get a DPS score, to get how fast a given pokémon deals damage.I also calculated the overall pokémon endurance by multiplying the DPS with (bastATK+15)(baseDEF+15)(baseSTA+15). Because 2, 3 times the ATK, the 2, 3 times the damage; the 2, 3 times the DEF, the 2, 3 times less damage received; the 2, 3 times the stamina, the 2, 3 times more the damage the pokémon can absorb. I ignored the extra energy you get from taking damage, because it again highly dependent on the situation. Then I divided this number with 10000 to scale it down a bit, otherwise it would be too high.The numbersNow let's see who is the fastest and the strongest.Normal type pokémon: Blissey and SnorlaxThe fastest killers are definitely the fighting pokémon that use Counter. Counter is fast move with 0.9 sec cooldown and 8 energy so it has 8.88 EPS and it makes 10 fighting damage. The charged move Dynamic Punch is 2 bar move with 90 fighting type damage. Machamp wins here. One exception here is Ursaring. As you guessed it Blissey (apart from a few cases) is always sitting on the top due to its pathologically high tankiness. Regardless of moveset it can keep going forever. I pretty much expect Niantic to nerf it a bit. The runner up is Machamp with Counter + Dynamic Punch. Followed by Donphan with Counter + Earthquake. Then Tryanitar with Bite + Crunch. The later Snorlax appears on the list with Zen Headbutt + Hyper Beam. Are you swimming in Swinub? Catch them all! The runner up is Gengar. It's Hex + Shadow ball combo is makes it having the highest DPS in the entire game currently. He can beat Dragonite just by brute force and not type effectiveness.
