"I collected catch data from 8 trainers during the water event"

#PokemonGO: I tried to find a mega thread on this but there wasn't one on the first couple pages so I am posting because I figure someone might be interested in this info.Of 8 trainers only 4 caught shiny Magikarp during the event. Trainer 1 caught around 350 before first shiny karp, and was happy with that and stopped hunting. He had 852 candies on hand. His was on the first day of event.Trainer 2 caught one on his 812th and caught 3152 total, he had 897 candies on hand. This was second day of the event. Of interest both got theirs at the same pokestop on consecutive days both between 6-7pm though it was tested and no one got anything from that stop around that time any other day.Trainer 3 got hers after 576 and had 872 candies on hand, this was yesterday on the last day of the event.Trainer 4 got hers after 700 plus Magikarp and had 1200plus candies on hand and got hers today. Of interest both got theirs at the same pokestop on consecutive days both between 9-930am both it was within their first 10 catches.Trainer 5 was over 3,900 last night and still hadn't got one.Trainer 6 caught over 1k and still hasn't got one.Trainer 7 caught 300 with no luckTrainer 8 caught 800 over the weekend with no luck and gave up.Also of note we all did the majority of our hunting in a water biome that we realized after the event was a Magikarp nest.
