"I feel like people who play the game do not like the fact that something is rarer than others?"

#PokemonGO: It seems like the vast majority of people want an evolution stone ever 3rd stop they spin or that they want every pidgey in their city to poop out Unowns at events so they can catch a ton of Unowns.I really don't agree with any of that. Maybe it's just me but I actually enjoy it when there are things in games that are near impossible to get. I have only received one evolution stone and I haven't found the shadow of a Unown but I still think it's awesome to not have instantly found these pokemon and items. I enjoy the fact that maybe it'll take me months, or even years to get any of them. Maybe I'll never even get any of those things in all of the time I'll be playing the game. And to me, that's okay because a game to me is about challenge. If every pokemon was equally common, then this game would honestly be very boring and not exciting at all.I think people are too obsessed with looking at what they'll gain from completing the entire pokedex, and in their eager, get completely blindsided by the fact that if there was no challenge involved, then completing the pokedex would not be very satisfying (at least in my opinion).
