"Is there any use in the current meta for a Gyrados with Bite/Crunch?"
#PokemonGO: It seems that today truly was a lucky day, because there was a mere 1 in 6 chance of getting (from what I've read) the worst possible move set on my nearly perfect Magikarp. (15/14/15) Normally I wouldn’t obsess over something like this, but I’ve been slowly gathering candies for this guy since July. (Magikarps are super rare where I live for some reason, and I don’t get to play as much as I’d like to.) Needless to say, we’ve been through a lot; he taught me the meaning of friendship and how to look like a dazed tourist in my own town. (I didn’t know there was a giant statue of a turtle mostly obscured by a riverbank until I walked by it with Mr.Fish.) So it just kills me that nearly every website ranks these moves as the worst possible combination, and many have some hard data to back it up. (This being one of the more depressing info graphs I’ve seen.)With the meta the way it is, should I even bother powering him up? Maybe I’m missing something and he’s not just a bench warmer? Perhaps I should just try again and see if I end up evolving one with literally any other move-set? (I’m really not counting on Niantic ever implementing a reroll system.) Or should I just cut my losses?EDIT: Wow, thank you all so much for the informative replies! :D via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2nBn5u6
