"[Discussion] How I'm fighting spoofers until the gym re-work."

#PokemonGO: I've been unable to keep a group of 10 pokemon in gyms for a few weeks now. There is a local spoofer(and his alt account), in all of the gyms (serious waste of team resources). If we take one over, they take it back within a few minutes.My current strategy has been to work on the gyms around my house. There are four within a bike ride of my home, that I have been keeping on lock. I have a lot of low level carps/bubble strat gym defenders, and a ton of <1/2 CP attackers. I take a gym from said spoofer, and just prestige it up to lvl10. If I stay there long enough I can see them trying to take it back, but I keep pounding away. potionsareeasytocomeby.revivesnotsomuch. Soon, other people are dropping 'mons in the gym, and said spoofer cannot get it back from us as long as I'm there.I've only been able to collect a few coins at a time doing this, but I feel like it's working. They are either running out of potions/time, or they have another gym that's easier to get. I've been able to hold the gym closest to my house for about 4 days now. My only reason is the 3 x 3,000 CP Blissy on top.My biggest achievement out if this has been my Battle girl medal.Aside from that, my team has greatly benefited, and I think I may have inspired some of them to fight back.Thank you r/thesilphroad for teaching me everything I have in my toolbelt.
