"If you could pick only three Gens to play for the rest of your life until you die, which Gens would you choose?"

So as the title implies, you are cursed with the inability to replay games from more than three generations of Pokemon, but you get to pick the generations you can play.This applies to every main series game (and only main series game) in that gen. So HGSS for Gen IV, ORAS for Gen VI, etc.Given the choice to choose the only games you'd be able to replay until death, which three gens would you choose?Also, I know no one cares, but my personal choice would be Gen I, Gen IV, and Gen V.Gen V is my absolute favorite, with either Sinnoh or Johto right after it. I know that the region of Kanto is in HGSS, but the story isn't. I also know that Gen III included remakes, but I've honestly never been too much a fan of Hoenn, and despite the remakes, it would mean I couldn't play Yellow, the canon (imo) version of the game.Plus, my playthroughs have always been Yellow, Soulsilver, Platinum, and so forth. I'm a big story person, so I put things in chronological order, but I could never put Gen III between Gen I and II due to how the story connects so well. At the same time though, I feel like Gen II and IV seem thematically linked as well (even without the guest appearance exchanges between the two of them). III is just out of place the way I play, and I never really liked Hoenn all that much to begin with.
