"Just helped a lost old lady get home safely while on my usual egg hatching route."

#PokemonGO: So like most cool 20-somethings these days, I spent my Friday night hatching some eggs in Pokemon Go. I finished my usual optimized route to get the most amount of distance and most amount of Pokestops possible and was headed back home. About a block away from my house, a little old lady pulled over to the curb near me looking extremely disoriented and asked me how to get to Main Street. Now, she stopped me right near an intersection, and Main Street was clearly visible and only one block away from where we were stopped. I pointed out that Main Street was only 'right over there', but she just seemed more lost and upset and again asked me how to get there, this time giving me her actual address. By now I realized that she obviously was suffering from Alzheimer's or something along those lines, so I told her not to worry and I would help her get home. She immediately climbed over into the passenger seat for me to drive her home, but I didn't want to just drive her to the address myself even though it was only a few blocks from us. I had no way of knowing for sure if it was truly her address, or if anyone would be home that could look after her. I sat in the car with her and told her I would call for help and obviously called the police so that they could hopefully verify her address or find her family. While we waited she told me she has lived in town most of her life, and told me a bit about her husband and son at home. Once the police came, they asked her some questions and assured me they would get her home safely. I told her it was nice to meet her and to have a good night, and I was on my way. I'm glad that I was out walking when I was, otherwise the poor lady might have injured herself or someone else while attempting to drive.
