"[Bug] Power Ups and Level 39: Your Pokemon will never be the very best"

#PokemonGO: When a Pokemon reaches level 39, the “Power Up” button disappears. It’s been this way since the release of the game, for no apparent reason. Most of us never noticed because we didn’t reach trainer level 38 in the first 6 months.However, before the Gen2 release, there was a glitch which allowed multi-tapping to power up pokemon several times at once. By triple-tapping pokemon at level 38.5, some higher level players were able to achieve level 40 Dragonites, Snorlaxes, and more. All these players were able to keep their level 40 pokemon after the multi-tap glitch was patched out.As a result, a small number of players are lucky enough to have level 40 Dragonites with CP 3581, while the rest of us – even if we’re lucky enough to find a perfect Dratini – are forever capped at CP 3530 by this glitch. It may seem like a small thing, but it’s rather disheartening to know that your pokemon – even if it’s perfect – will never be the very best, because of a glitch.I realize this problem may seem exclusive to the hardcore trainers at the highest levels, but it’s relevant to an increasingly large number of players. More and more people are approaching trainer level 38, and the numbers will only get higher as time goes on.Please Niantic – fix the glitch with the power up button disappearing at level 39!
