"Coin Rewards"

#PokemonGO: We've talked a lot about gym rewards, team imbalance, etc and how it only increasingly skews the game in favor of the dominate team in an area. This is attributed to the fact that coins and stardust are rewarded for owning these gyms.I'm tossing out there for consideration a different approach to rewards and gyms. This game is about being active. Currently, being on the dominant team and owning 10 stagnant gyms, you collect 100 coins and 5000 stardust daily without much effort once established.What if, instead, gyms rewarded a smaller reward for holding them (100 stardust per gym?), large stardust rewards were moved to participation in raids, and coins were moved to active daily participation.Example of coin rewards (daily quests):Earn 10 coins (once daily) for each activity: defeat a gym defender Take over a gym prestige up a gym by 2k Place into a gym you prestiged catch 10 Pokemon participate in a raid spin 10 PokeStops walk 2km hatch an egg Etc. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2rGidFT
