"FYI, people who want the game to be harder should play on "Set" battle mode."

I'm sure this is common knowledge for many but I just want to remind that it's a thing, one worth using IMO.I too wish we could get some more challenge out of Pokémon, but I wouldn't be surprised to hear that many people who want it to be harder aren't using Set mode. For those who don't know, there's two options for battling, Set and Switch(Shift). The option concerns the ability to switch Pokémon before the opponent sends it out, "Your boy Guzma is about to send out Golisopod, do you want to switch Pokémon?" Switch lets you switch out, Set doesn't let you. Set mode makes the game much harder because you can't just constantly switch into good typing which will fairly swing the momentum in the AI's favor.Another thing people mention is to turn off EXP share, which is dumb, that's not real difficulty, that's just making it tedious. If you want more challenge though, try to not abuse or limit the amount of items you use inside battle. I probably have used over 5000 revives against Elite Fours.Either way here's hoping they bring back the hard mode concept of BW(or was it BW2?) except let you choose it from the start. via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2qhRK4p
