"Gyms should be more like gyms in real Pokemon games"

#PokemonGO: I am sick and tired of trying to grind through multiple Blisseys/Snorlaxes/Dragonites in a single opposing gym. Nobody in the actual Pokemon games had duplicates of their strongest Pokemon (except for Lance, who had like three Dragonites lol) and especially not the gym leaders.I think there are (at least) two improvements that can be made to the gym system. The first is to prevent duplicates, e.g. if there is already a Dragonite, you cannot put your own Dragonite. That increases gym diversity, which makes battling a lot more fun. The second is to have a type theme going on - what kind of Pokemon gym doesn't have a particular type they specialize in? The first person who takes a gym can decide the type of Pokemon allowed, and this type restriction can only be changed after the gym is taken down. With more Pokemon being released, there's more than enough of each type to fill up a gym.Thoughts? via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2q0BiFN
