Regardless of your starter Pokemon, I found that Lana's trial was the second most difficult trial in the game. Perhaps it was because I had chosen Popplio instead of Rowlet, but that's besides the point. If you're having difficult with it, catch a Finneon with Storm Drain. I had done some research on Pokemon that could potentially beat the totem Wishiwashi, but all of the Grass and Electric types were either too weak or not available at that point in the game. I then looked into Pokemon that had abilities that would nullify Water type moves, because all of Wishiwashi's attacking moves were Water types. I first looked into Pokemon with Storm Drain, and that's when I found out that Finneon gets it as one of its two regular abilities. I caught one in Hau'oli City and then trained it up a bit. I then initiated the battle with the Totem Wishiwashi. After the battle was over, I had not taken any damage. via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2s1NxiD
