The idea was to create flags that would represent each region as their people would see them rather than how we see them--so no blue/pink for Sinnoh or red/blue for Kanto because of their game colors, for instance.Thanks to Bulbapedia for details on each of the regions (and the themes for many of them), and http://krikienoid . github . io/ for the flag-waving website.Descriptions for each of them are in the imgur descriptions.
