"Gym rework and GPS spoofing / multi-accounting"

#PokemonGO: I sincerely hope Niantic realizes any Gym rework (no matter how exciting, fun and appealing the result may be) will immediately lose its touch of brilliancy if they don't deal with cheaters at the same time.It's just silly to brag about 750 million downloads, the possibility of catching Pokémon in the wild and battling other Pokémon in Gyms if most of these downloads are cheat accounts that have no problem catching any Pokémon anywhere anytime and populate the majority of the Gyms around the world to collect their free PokéCoins.The Niantic Marketing dept may get a new selling point with the coming Gym rework, so I understand they will make a lot of noise about it in the next few weeks, but as a player I'd rather hear Nia Ops whisper they will shut down the majority of all cheat accounts instead...I keep my fingers crossed that progress is made in both areas simultaneously to give Gym rework the chance to be the best update since the game launched a year ago...(Edit: the words 'cheat accounts' replace 'bots' in the 2nd line of the OP, since some users correctly pointed out that bots don't need to download the program) via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2t8TFWI
